I started as a Private in the US Marine Corps in Jan 2000 and as a Staff Sergeant I was meritoriously select to become a commissioned officer. I was fortunate to have leadership positions as the platoon commander, Company Commanding Officer, Academics OIC for USMC schools, USMC CQB school OIC, and lastly I was an advanced foreign security advisor. As a CO, I also activated two Marine Corps units.
