Comments on the Military and Business Ownership

I have been a business technology consultant and digital marketer for over 25 years. I have had a passion for technology since I was a little kid, working on my Commodore 64. My upbringing was not easy, and I will admit that I was one of those kids from the other side of the train tracks, coming from a dysfunctional broken home. Many of my childhood friends have either went to prison or died at a very young age. I decided to join the US Marines as a much younger man and did a tour of combat during Operation Restore Hope, Somalia. It was a very violent and dangerous place. My training, leadership, and teamwork from my fellow Marines; kept me alive. I thank God every day that I made the decision to serve my country, or I would have probably ended up where many of my childhood friends did. At an early age I learned the vital importance of initiative, sacrifice, commitment, honesty, and teamwork. These are the values that I embrace, every single day.
